This is a short and sharp demonstration of the fxc.co on-line performance management system.

A balanced score card approach is taken - the ratings are based on financial, customer, operational and team dimensions. The ratings in turn are derived from objective performance information and competencies. Both types of measures are obviously based on the job - in this example, a key account sales role.

Note these features:
  • The manager 'sets the standard'
  • The staff member can access the manager's own goals for context
  • Other people can contribute to the competency ratings - to get a more comprehensive view.


This performance review assesses the staff member in four areas (you rate each of these from "1: Below expectation" through to "4: Outstanding").

When you have finished you can review your ratings, both of individuals and also your total team - to assess relativities. You can then make any adjustments before you send this summary to the data base. The database then signals your staff member to complete their ratings. After they have done this, you will both receive a draft report - combining your respective ratings. This draft report serves as the basis for your performance review discussion.
